| Autumn Moon Paranormal's Investigations Below is a list of investigations we've conducted research on.
 Spookywoods High Point, NC
We have conducted many investigations of Spookywoods and have found enough evidence at this location to consider it to be haunted. We will continue our research of this location and hopefully gather more evidence of the ghost that reside there. We have documentation of the "fiddler" and his presence in the old farm house as well as some great EVPs of what sounds like Native American chanting and drumming. We've encounted what appears to be several spirits on the land and never leave this location empty handed.  Mountain of Terror Asheboro, NC
We have conducted several investigations of this location and got some EVPs including one that sounds like a child's voice asking for "mommy".  Battleship North Carolina Wilmington, NC
The Battleship N.C. has been on our list of favorite places. Our first trip, just as we were getting on the ship, a nice thunderstorm hit, including possible tornado watches in the area. A group of just girls seemed to have the most activity that night. The K-II meter seemed to respond to questions for at least an hour in what is known as the bullpen. Once we left that room, no one captured anything in there until we returned. Again, we seemed to get responses on the K-II for a couple of hours. At one point, everyone on the ship was in the bullpen, a walkie talkie that was in an investigators bag turned itself on and said her name. While everyone was in the bullpen, the sounds of soldiers running down the stairwell were heard as if it was time for breakfast. Shadows have been seen and several really good EVP have been captured. Several investigations have been conducted there and we are heading back soon. Waverly Hills, Louisville, KY
We have been to Waverly Hills which is an old TB hospital in Louisville. We've experienced and seen some amazing things in this location including shadow people, full body apparitions and things being thrown at us. We have some good EVP and also had some EMF activity. We very much consider this location to be haunted and enjoy investigating it when we are able to do so.  TransAlleghany Lunatic Asylum Weston, WV
TransAlleghany Lunatic Asylum was a great investigation. Some team members caught some good EVP and made contact with spirits through EMF meters. We got some excellent activity on the 4th floor here 3 investigators heard a woman's voice and a child with their own ears. The woman said "get out" on two different occassions and when the investigator asked if she wanted us to get out she heard a clear "yes" in her ear. We then heard movement which sounded like furniture being drug across the floor.  The Country Squire Restaurant, Vintage Inn, Winery, and Gift Shop Warsaw, NC
AMP traveled to Warsaw to visit The Country Squire in September 2010, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the owner, Iris Lennon. We had some activity we couldn't explain in the Jester room to start the night off with a bang. Throughout the night, we had some unexplained noises in the pantry, kitchen, and dining areas. Three investigators report hearing an unhappy male voice coming out of the bar area but unfortunately no recorders picked this voice up. We did capture some unexplained EVP at this location. We are looking forward to another trip there in the future. Private Historic Location
AMP was allowed into a private historical location in August 2010. Two investigators dressed in period clothing for a short amount of time due to the heat playing a factor that night. During this time, numerous personal experiences were documented, including shadow people being seen by numerous investigators. We had several EVP captured that night. One very good EVP was captured on two different recorders and was clearly a woman's voice. On November 20th, 2010, AMP was allowed to return to this location for a second investigation. Again, it yielded a few EVP and unexplained shadow people. Two members at different times saw what appeared to be a shadow person dart at inhuman speeds, which was also reported on the first investigation of this location.
 The Webb Library, Morehead City, NC ____________________________________________________________________________ On Saturday November 6th, 2010, AMP traveled to Webb Library. This location was relatively quiet most of the night. Some of the activity that was reported throughout the night were the sounds of a woman laughing, several hearing a male voice in an upstairs room, and someone seeing an apparition in a room upstairs. While doing a walk through gathering history, a footstep was heard in a room no one was in. A whisper was heard in one investigators ear, but was not able to decipher words from it. One member also heard what sounded like movement of a book.  Private Historic Plantation
AMP got permission to investigate a private historic plantation in the northern part of North Carolina. We have conducted two investigations. October 8th, 2010, we investigated for the first time. We were up against some noise contamination, but we were able to still have some unexplained K-II responses that night and cold spots in the home that were not traced to a source. Also that night, an unexplained perfume was followed around two areas upstairs in the home. November 13th, 2010, we followed up with a second investigation. The home yielded results this time with a collection of EVP, one of which sounds like a child. Also captured were footsteps when no one that was in our group were walking.  Private Theatre
On December 11th, 2010, AMP traveled southeast to a small town theatre that has reported activity. While setting up equipment that night, things began to happen that were unexplainable. One member saw a man walking up on the balcony, but everyone in the building was accounted for at the time he was seen. Two members had a similar experience, involving their hair, in two different areas around the same time. While actually investigating, we decided to test out the theories of a ghost box for the first time. We still are on the fence about this device, however, it did give some repeat answers and some did not sound like typical radio answers. Another member passed someone thinking it was the man that worked for the theatre that stayed with us, but realized that man was sitting and had not moved at the time the person was seen. After reviewing all the evidence, the place has yielded some very interesting EVP. AMP is planning on conducting another investigation at this location in the near future, to follow up on a lead that seemed to be pointing us in the direction of checking out the crawl space under the stage.  Private Home, Mount Airy
AMP visited a private home in Mount Airy on December 17, 2010. There were numerous different reports of activity such as the thermostat getting moved on it's own, money getting rearranged on the table while no one is home, voices being heard, homeowners being touched, and apparitions have also been seen. We did notice on the initial sweep of the house that part of the house that was added on to the original home had very high EMF readings. During the investigation, a knock was heard by all people present in response to a member trying to get something to knock. Voices were captured on the recorders that could not be explained as one of us. We did catch a not so nice response while using the ghost box, and our thoughts on that are it was something that would not be allowed to be said on the radio stations. One member did see a darting shadow while investigating as well. | |
